Lord Byron

About the poet:

Born: January 22, 1788 in Kent, England.
Died: April 19, 1824  in Aetolia-Acarnania, Greece.

Lord Byron was known for being the leading poet of Romanticism.  He was born with the name George Gordon Byron but simply became Lord Byron at age 10.  He was well known for his excess of debts, affairs and self-imposed exile.  He died from a fever when he was 36.
