About the poet:

Born: March 18,1893 in Shropshire, UK.
Died: November 4,1918 in Canal, France.

Owen was a soldier in the First World War and wrote about his experiences through poetry.  Only five of his poems were published before his death.  He was killed in action at the age of 25.
