DLTK's Poems
William Wordsworth

About the poet:

Born: April 7, 1770 in Cockermouth, England.
Died: April 23, 1850 in Cumberland, England.

Wordsworth helped to launch the Romantic age of English literature with Samuel Taylor Coleridge and was Britain's Poet Laureate from 1843 to 1850.
He became known as one of the Lake poets along with Southey and Colerage and during this time wrote a lot about depression, separation and grief.
Some critics think his writings started to decline around 1810 because he had resolved most of his issues of depression, separation and grief through his earlier writings.
